The in-situ thermoforming method is to heat and soften the liner, put it into the original pipe by traction, press it tightly with the original pipe by heating, and then cool it to form the inner liner pipe, which is called fipp (formed in place pipe).
Material advantages
·It can be used to repair pressure pipes and drinking water pipes;
·The material has excellent impact resistance, which can be used to repair the pipeline under extreme load (train track, pipeline under the expressway);
·The flexibility of the material (elongation at break more than 25%) makes it suitable for cyclic loading (such as along the subway), and repair of pipelines in earthquake prone areas.
